Digital health funding continued to fall in 2023. While it was down 48% from 2022, it was down 75% vs. the ZIRPy days of 2021. Reflecting just how far funding has fallen, the $13.2B raised last year marked the market’s lowest annual funding total since 2016. The year for digital health also ended on a whimper with $2.3B being raised in Q4’23 — an 8-year quarterly low.
