Volume Increases Are Concentrated in Non-Hospital Outpatient Settings [US context]
- The only settings of care with a positive growth rate from 2019 to 2021 are urgent care and non-hospital outpatient departments.
- Notably, almost half (47%) of urgent care volumes in Q1 2021 are related to treatment and/or testing of COVID-19.
