BCG GAMMA developed an analytics platform called VaxImpact to face vaccination challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.
VaxImpact allows for adaptive decision-making and analytics to enhance COVID-19.
VaxImpact enables clients to evaluate and optimize their vaccine distribution and deploy simulation-driven analyses in order to:
- Evaluate geographic reach and throughput for specific populations
- Identify potential site locations and establish network
- Allocate supply efficiently
- Adapt dynamically to improve site operations over time .
The tool integrates existing data to optimize vaccine rollout performance to support coverage, equity, and wastage goals, and to inform strategic decision-making on public health measures .
